RocketGT is designed to be glanced at, and to be usable without being touched, but no app is worth your attention at speed. You are responsible for riding safely and for obeying the speed limits and the law where you are.
Speed comes from your phone's GPS. It is generally more accurate than a motorcycle's own speedometer, which is legally required never to read low, but it is still a measurement with error. It may be wrong or unavailable in tunnels, between tall buildings, under heavy tree cover, or wherever satellite reception is poor. Do not rely on it to determine whether you are within a speed limit, and do not present it as evidence.
RocketGT cannot detect a crash and does not claim to.
The check-in notices that you stopped abruptly and did not answer a prompt, and then tells a contact you chose. It depends on your phone having power, signal and a working location fix, and on the person you nominated seeing the message and acting. It is not a substitute for emergency services, for a crash-detection system, or for telling somebody where you are going. It may fail to fire when it should, and it may fire when nothing is wrong.
The maintenance schedule ships with sensible defaults for a chain-drive road bike. Your motorcycle's own manual is the authority, always. Following the app instead of your manual is your decision and your risk.
Figures in the bike catalogue are manufacturer-claimed and vary by market and model year. They are provided for interest, not for buying, selling, insuring or racing a motorcycle.
Purchases and any refunds are handled by Apple under the terms of the App Store. The lifetime purchase unlocks the app's features on iPhone and Apple Watch. A subscription renews until cancelled, which you do in your Apple Account settings, not here.
RocketGT is provided as it is, without warranty. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from its use — including a ride that did not record, a service reminder that did not appear, or a check-in that did not reach anyone.
